    Finding a permanent teaching job through Global Recruit Ltd …

    We're not just a supply agency...

    As part of our teacher recruitment business, Global Recruit Ltd source permanent teaching jobs for qualified teachers across London and the Home Counties. Teachers can register with Global Recruit Ltd whilst in post, so that they can be considered for permanent vacancies as and when they arise.

    When to apply...

    As the vast majority of permanent teacher recruitment is completed at specific times throughout the academic year - due to term and resignation date constraints - Global Recruit Ltd advises all teachers to register as early as possible so that they do not miss job opportunities by leaving their application until the last minute. This is because the registration and clearance process we are duty-bound to undertake on all teachers needs to be completed prior to placement. After all, isn't it best to be registered and eligible for all potential vacancies as they arise instead of missing vacancies and having to wait another term before moving to a new post? Or, worse still, handing in your resignation with no job to go to because you were not registered and missed out on the vacancies available when they were available?

    When vacancies are plentiful...

    Our client schools contact us with the vast majority of their vacancy requirements at specific times of the academic year:

    For posts commencing at the start of the academic year (September), schools will start to contact Global Recruit Ltd from February onwards (seven months prior);

    For posts commencing at the start of the spring term (January), schools will start to contact Global Recruit Ltd from September onwards (four months prior);

    For posts commencing at the start of the summer term (April), schools will start to contact Global Recruit Ltd from January onwards (three months prior);

    Global Recruit Ltd then matches suitable candidates from among our registered teacher pool. In a nut shell, it is always best for a teacher to be registered at least a term in advance from the date they are looking to start a new post.
